September and October will see Mustard jetting off to speak at some very exciting events in the market research calendar.
The tour kicks off with ESOMAR’s Congress in Nice on 7th – 10th September. Directors, Lucy Davison and Simon Dunn will be exploring ‘Brand MR’ by inviting Congress attendees to imagine, visualise and describe what MR should be in the future. The interactive exercise will take place throughout the Congress, aiming to discover both where the industry is now and where it wants to be, creating input for a hypothetical branding project. Get involved here.
Lucy will then be speaking at Greenbook’s Insight Marketing Day in New York on 23rd September. The event is specifically designed for people charged with marketing a market research agency or service. It is designed to deliver best practices, practical tips, hands-on training – and a healthy dose of inspiration. Lucy will be speaking about brand transcendence. You can sign up here.
The next event on our calendar is ESOMAR’s B2B conference in Atlanta on the 14th October. Lucy will be presenting alongside Paul Buckley, European Region Insights Director at GlaxoSmithKline on how applying the principles of branding will save the marketing research industry. Currently, the visual and verbal language of the industry is not distinctive. Lucy will argue that it is time to escape from the current price-driven, product/commodity trap and emerge into the world of B2B brands. Register here.
Let’s hope that what goes on tour doesn’t stay on tour – and that applies to both Mustard’s directors and the insights they will be sharing.
